Academic Partnerships
BTVI has established strategic alliances with several academic institutions to provide our students with expanded learning opportunities:
- Algonquin College: In September 2023, BTVI and Algonquin College signed a five-year partnership to strengthen cooperation and provide international educational opportunities for students at both institutions.
- New England Institute of Technology (NEIT): Our articulation agreements with NEIT allow BTVI graduates to seamlessly continue their education in various degree programs, facilitating a smooth transition for students pursuing advanced studies.
- Turks and Caicos Islands Community College (TCICC): This strategic partnership focuses on dual enrollment opportunities, enabling students to benefit from the combined resources and expertise of both institutions.
Industry Partnerships
Our collaborations with industry leaders ensure that BTVI students receive practical, real-world experience:
- Machinery & Energy Limited (M & E Limited): We are grateful for the generous support from M & E Limited, which contributes to the advancement of our technical programs and resources.
- Ministry of Economic Affairs and The Bahamas Digital: BTVI partners with these organizations to promote digital literacy and economic development initiatives, preparing our students for the evolving digital economy.
- Urban Renewal Commission: Through the 'Pathways to Prosperity' program, in collaboration with Cyber Tech Career College and Galilee College, BTVI provides young individuals with the skills necessary to secure meaningful employment.
