The Office of Financial Aid is dedicated to assisting students in accessing financial resources to support their education. Whether you need financial assistance, merit-based scholarships, or work-study opportunities, we are here to guide you through the process.
In consultation with the Office of Student Affairs, the following are administrated by the Office of Financial Aid:
The BTVI Tuition Grant
At BTVI, we’re committed to making education affordable and accessible. The BTVI Tuition Grant, funded by the Government of The Bahamas, helps eligible students and alumni reduce their tuition costs—and best of all, it never has to be repaid!

Merit-Based Scholarships
Merit-Based Scholarships are awarded to students who meet the academic eligibility criteria set by the scholarship provider. These scholarships recognize and reward academic excellence.
Private Scholarships
BTVI partners with industry organizations to provide scholarships for selected students. Scholarship recipients will be notified directly by the Office of Financial Aid.

Work-Study Programme
The Work-Study Programme offers on-campus employment opportunities for eligible students. This financial grant helps students manage their financial needs while gaining valuable work experience.
Confidentiality
All financial aid applications are treated with the utmost confidentiality and are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee.
