BTVI Campus/ Site Transfer Instructions
Thinking about moving to another BTVI campus/site? Here’s what to know and how to request a transfer.
Who can transfer?
You may request a transfer to another BTVI campus only if your programme is approved to be offered at that campus/site.
When does a transfer take effect?
Approved transfers take effect in the subsequent semester following the submission of the application for transfer.
How to request (a student checklist)
1. Confirm your programme is offered at the campus/site to which you want to transfer
2. Complete the Campus/Site Transfer Form
3. Make sure your contact details and mailing address on the form are up to date.
4. Submit your form to the appropriate office:
- New Providence — Office of the Registrar
- Grand Bahama — Admissions Department
5. Check your email for confirmation and next steps
What happens after you submit?
-
The campus you are leaving updates your student record and shares the required information with the campus to which you are relocating. The transfer is not considered final until this process is completed.
-
If your programme is available at the new campus/site: you’ll receive a confirmation email from the campus that you are leaving and any orientation/next-step details. Please check the BTVI website at the following link: Programmes by Island Site - Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute
