Fee Payment Dates

Academic Dates and Holidays

Registration Periods
- Fall Semester registration begins in June-July.
- Spring Semester registration begins in January-February.
Students will receive a notification via email when course registration opens.

Tuition and Fees
Tuition fees at BTVI vary based on student status, program, and academic year. Below are the tuition and fee details for the current academic year.

Scholarships

Viewing Your Financial Account
Students can access their financial account to view payments due and payments made. After registering for courses, tuition and fees will be visible on your account.

Books and Supplies
Students are responsible for purchasing all required books, tools, kits, and uniforms for their courses. These items are necessary for successful completion of the programme and are not included in tuition or fees.
Professional Development and Industry Training
Fees for professional development programmes and courses vary and are advertised at the time of offering. Payment must be made in full unless otherwise stated.
- Fees include a BTVI certificate upon programme completion.
- Certification and licensure fees are not included.
- Full refunds are only provided if the programme or course is canceled by BTVI.
Graduation Fees
All students are required to pay a non-refundable graduation fee of $300.00, which includes:
- Lifetime membership in the BTVI Alumni Association.
- Graduation application and ceremony costs.
Payment is due on the designated date outlined in the Academic Calendar. This fee is valid for one year only.
Outstanding Balances
BTVI will not issue:
- Grades or transcripts
- Diplomas, certificates, or academic awards
This applies to any student with an account in arrears. Ensure your account is in good standing to avoid delays in accessing academic or administrative services.
How Can I Pay My Fees?
The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) provides multiple options for students to pay their fees.
Payment of Fees
Accepted payment methods include:
- Pay Online
- Cash
- Visa or MasterCard
- Direct deposit
For assistance with payments, contact the Finance Office.
Refund Policy
Refunds are calculated based on the official withdrawal date and require a written application.
- 90% refund: Before the first scheduled day of class.
- 80% refund: After the first scheduled day of class and up to the end of the first week.
- 50% refund: During the second week of class.
No refunds are issued for withdrawals after the second week of class. Books are non-refundable.
Students who are required to withdraw from a program automatically forfeit any refund rights under this section.
