Applying to BTVI is a straightforward process, and we are here to guide you every step of the way. To be considered for admission, ensure that you submit all required documents and follow the steps outlined below.
Required Documents
To apply for admission to BTVI, you need to submit the following documents:
- Completed BTVI Admission Application Apply online through the BTVI web portal at myBTVI.
- Proof of Citizenship A valid E-Passport is required for proof of citizenship.
- National Insurance Smart Card Ensure your NIB Smart Card is up to date.
- Current Police Certificate Must be issued within the last six months.
- BTVI Medical Form A completed medical form signed, stamped, and dated by a medical doctor.
- Non-refundable Application Fee Receipt Provide proof of payment for the nonrefundable application fee.
Additional Documents to Submit
- Academic Certificates Certificates in Mathematics and English (with a grade of “C” or higher, such as BJC, BGCSE, GCE, or CXC).
- Official Transcript Official transcripts from high school, college, or university (must be sealed or sent directly from the institution).
- Marriage Certificate If applicable, submit a marriage certificate (for name changes on official documents).

Steps to Apply
Step 1: Start Your Application
- Go to myBTVI, click the “My BTVI” tab, and select “New Application.”
- Choose “Application for Admission” from the available options.
Step 2: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the application fee and upload the receipt to prove payment.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Upload the following documents:
- National Insurance Board (NIB) Smart Card
- Relevant Pages of a Valid E-Passport
- Police Record
- BTVI Medical Form
- National Exam Certificates
- High School Transcripts
