Job Title:           Graphic Designer

Reports to:      Public Relations Officer

 

 JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate would have responsibility for designing dynamic marketing materials including, but not limited to print brochures, advertisements, email graphics, flyers, posters and social media graphics. He/she will design, edit and proofread to produce high quality, accurate pieces that satisfy the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute’s (BTVI) communication objectives, standards and branding requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a degree in Graphic Design or related field.

 

Required Experience

At least two (2) years professional experience producing quality print and digital graphic design materials and photography.

 

Specialized Knowledge

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • An ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation, including board directors, senior executives, administrators, faculty, staff and students, in a warm and professional manner.
  • Excellent team player and problem solver, self-starter, excellent presentation skills and outstanding ability to troubleshoot.
