JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator has a strong leadership background and a broad portfolio of marketing expertise. The role includes and is not limited to data collection and visualization across print and digital platforms; internal, external and government relations; advertising and media works; event management and overall project management. As the main point of contact for the implementation of the Institution’s Strategic Plan, the Marketing Coordinator determines project
benchmarks, monitors and measures progress and outcomes. The Marketing Coordinator ideally has an understanding of public policy and corporate management that supports the Institute’s Strategic Plan. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Public Relations Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns that promote the Institute, programmes, students, faculty and alumni of BTVI with the purpose of attracting new students, employees, partners and doners while telling the
    BTVI story through the use of: social media; paid advertising; E-Campaigning and Direct email
  • Liaise and work closely with the BTVI Fundraising and Capital Campaign team
  • Website strategy, design and maintenance
  • Plan and execute online advertising programmes
  • Content/collateral creation
  • Manage miscellaneous marketing tasks, projects and programmes, research and report in various areas of job functions to define direction and assess departmental goals and objectives as required
  • Execute daily administrative and marketing tasks

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years marketing experience
  • Experience in digital and print marketing
  • Experience in website management
  • Experience in sales pitching and marketing presentations
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  •  Experience in Google Analytics and Google Ads, plus
  • Post-secondary diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
