The Dean of Information Technology and Distance (Online) Education ensures the quality and integrity of all academic functions of the IT, Electronics and Media Technology and business trades programmes and coordinates BTVI’s distance education and learning support services. 

A member of the Academic Affairs Leadership Team, the Dean provides academic leadership, supervises instructors and related ancillary personnel, coordinates and oversees the accreditation process, works with assessment processes, explores new academic programmes and works with instructors to develop semester course schedules. 

The Dean of Information Technology and Distance Education is directly responsible for all programmes and courses in the following areas:

• Business Trades
• Electronics and Media Technology
• Information and Communications Technology
